The KW Library of Things (KWLOT) is excited to be a part of Kindred’s #12days4good campaign. In the spirit of good deeds and do-it-yourself gifts, the KWLOT is excited to offer a free, drop-in crafting workshop.  We welcome one and all on Saturday, December 15 from 11:30 to 1:00 to learn how to make your own prints and greeting cards.

The workshop will be led by Sarah Granskou, the City of Kitchener’s 2016 artist in residence. All supplies are provided, along with hands-on instructions. Use Styrofoam or a cross-section of wood to make a personalized print and a card or two for some special people in your life!

The KWLOT is a space to borrow infrequently used items such as tools, camping gear and kitchen equipment. In addition to the environmental imperative of reducing waste, this social enterprise also provides inclusive, supported employment opportunities to those who have faced barriers to the job market. We look forward to you joining us in person and on social media on December 15 to celebrate a festive time of crafting, hot chocolate, treats, and connection.
